Patent: A method for salvaging floating and suspended objects in sewage treatment device

Interning in Shengjun environmental tech company, I observed the inefficieny of skimmers in sewage treatment device, therefore I co-invented a multi-level treatment device for scraping floating objects and suspended matter that received the patent above. The device includes a sewage carrying box and salvage facilities on top and bottom. The tom and bottom salvage assembly are used to salvage suspended solids as the filter screen moves. A spoiler is used to disturb the water flow and force the precipitated suspended solids to be suspended again. Thereby the suspended solids in the water through the salvage plate will be reduced. The quality of scraping is improved through multi-level salvage, which avoids clogging of pipelines when sewage is discharged, and also improves the efficiency.

Research: How can international legal rules and institutions improve aspects of the global response to pandemic disease and climate change?

Abstract: This paper examines the role of existing and future international laws and international organizations in mitigating climate change and pandemic disease issues. A carbon market is a practical approach reformed by the Paris Agreement that helps climate mitigation, especially in developing countries. Available evidence concludes that adversity in biodiversity and climate change forms a vicious circle that lacks international cooperation, and the paper proposes solutions. Vaccination is at the center of discussion as the pandemic arose. Therefore, better international treaties must be established, which are expected to include forming independent affiliates and enhanced financial assistance, technical assistance, and so on.

Research: Stewardship to build habitat gardens

Abstract:

Given the ongoing large-scale urbanization, native species and ecosystems face significant threats, while access to nature remains inequitable for citizens. To address these issues, habitat gardens are proposed. Considering the unique development models and high-density buildings in urban areas, habitat gardens are envisioned as relatively small multifunctional parks with native plants, maintained by the community (Kou et al., 2019). However, the lack of awareness of this concept makes it difficult for the community to initiate and maintain habitat gardens. This article examines how stewardship, as a solution, can help to construct habitat gardens by enhancing environmental identity, environmental literacy, and social relations.

Research: The Gene of the Digital Economy--Analysis of the Impactsof Blockchain Based on Efficiency Economics

Abstract: At present, blockchain has great application value and broad prospect in various economic fields. This paper analyzes the impact of blockchain technology on economic efficiency by reviewing the basic concepts, working principles and main features of blockchain technology and applying the theory of new institutional economics, and finds that the application of blockchain technology can benefit productive, allocative and pareto efficiency. Finally, policy suggestions are proposed to deepen the exploration and of blockchain technology, strengthen the integration and development of blockchain and emerging technologies, and accelerate the application of blockchain on the ground in various fields.
